Activities Calendar

The Youth Experience Program is more than just a weekly LGBTQ+ social-support youth group; it aims to provide a platform of weekly experiences for youth inspiration, the exchange of experiences, and mentorship opportunities. We believe that the implementation of the Youth Experience Program will not only enhance JFOY’s current programming but also contribute significantly to the well-being of the community we serve.

We will follow regularly scheduled weekly activities:

1st Monday of the Month: Guest Speaker Night

• This segment will feature knowledgeable and inspiring individuals, including community leaders and influential members of the LGBTQ+ community, sharing their experiences and insights.

2nd Monday of the Month: Social Interaction Workshop Night

• Structured activities and discussions aimed at fostering a sense of community, activism and providing a safe space for socializing and building connections among participants.

3rd Monday of the Month: Short Film Movie Night

• Screenings of LGBTQ+ themed films to foster understanding, LGBT normalization, and connection among the participants.

4th Monday of the Month: Open Mic Night

• Providing a platform for self-expression and creativity, allowing participants to showcase their talents in spoken word, music, or the arts in a supportive and safe space environment.
